Wildlife Pros — Jacksonville, FL
Large-Scale & Reserve Wildlife Control
From private reserves and working ranches to HOA communities, golf courses, and commercial campuses — Wildlife Pros manages wildlife at scale across Northeast Florida.
Wildlife Management Beyond the Residential Lot
Most wildlife removal companies are equipped for a single home or a small commercial property. Wildlife Pros is built for larger challenges. We provide comprehensive wildlife management programs for private reserves, hunting preserves, working ranches, HOA communities, golf courses, resort properties, utility corridors, and large commercial campuses throughout Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Clay, and Putnam counties. When the scale of the problem exceeds what a standard pest control company can handle — in acreage, species complexity, or the need for an ongoing management program rather than a one-time call — Wildlife Pros is the team Northeast Florida land managers and property owners rely on.
Large-scale wildlife management is not simply residential removal applied to a bigger area. It requires a different approach: population assessment before treatment, multi-species program design, the right equipment for the terrain and target species, coordination with Florida Fish & Wildlife regulations and permitting requirements, and the ability to sustain a management program over time. Wildlife Pros brings 25 years of field experience in Northeast Florida's specific ecosystems — the St. Johns River corridor, coastal marshes, pine flatwoods, and the urban-wildland interface — to every large-scale engagement.
- Northeast Florida sits at the intersection of four distinct ecosystems: coastal marsh, pine flatwoods, hardwood hammock, and freshwater wetlands
- Feral hog populations in Florida double every 4 months without active management — a critical concern for reserves and ranches
- Coyote populations have expanded throughout all of Northeast Florida, including suburban and semi-rural areas
- Beaver activity on reserve and ranch land can flood hundreds of acres if dam systems are not actively managed
- Nuisance alligator complaints in Florida exceed 15,000 per year — golf courses and resort properties account for a significant share
- Cormorant and wading bird colonies can devastate fish populations in managed ponds and aquaculture operations
- HOA communities with retention ponds and wooded buffers face multi-species pressure year-round in Jacksonville's climate
- Florida law requires permits for many large-scale wildlife management activities — Wildlife Pros handles all regulatory compliance

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of properties do you serve for large-scale wildlife management?
We work with private reserves and hunting preserves, working cattle and horse ranches, HOA communities and master-planned developments, golf courses and resort properties, utility and pipeline corridors, commercial campuses and industrial parks, aquaculture and fish farm operations, and municipal and county-managed open space. If the property is larger than a standard residential lot and the wildlife problem requires a sustained management program, we can help.
What species do you manage at the reserve and large-property scale?
Our large-scale programs most commonly address feral hogs, coyotes, beavers, alligators, white-tailed deer (depredation permits), cormorants and wading birds, feral cats, armadillos, and nuisance reptiles. We also provide multi-species exclusion programs for properties with complex, overlapping wildlife pressure. Each program is designed around the specific species present and the management objectives of the property.
How do you approach a large-scale wildlife management engagement?
Every large-scale engagement begins with a property assessment — we walk the land, identify species present, assess population pressure, map entry corridors and attractants, and document any regulatory considerations. From that assessment we develop a written management plan with recommended methods, timeline, and ongoing monitoring schedule. We do not deploy equipment or begin treatment until the plan is agreed upon and any required permits are in place.
Do you handle the permitting and regulatory compliance for large-scale programs?
Yes. Many large-scale wildlife management activities in Florida require coordination with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission — including depredation permits for deer and certain bird species, nuisance alligator trapper authorization, and permits for some trapping methods on larger acreages. Wildlife Pros manages all permitting and regulatory compliance as part of our large-scale service programs. You do not need to navigate the FWC permitting process on your own.
